Wouldn't it be hilarious...

Wouldn't buy him back for £12m. He's not the type of centre mid we need, and quite frankly I didn't like him all that much when he was here. Far too many snide elbows and going missing in games, and our centre mids need to be like McCarthy in the system we play, rather than Fellaini. I'd be amazed if Roberto bought him back.

The market speaks for itself. Nobody wanted him at his release clause, and now United are struggling to sell him for less than his release clause. He will end up at somewhere like Newcastle or West Ham, where he will play upfront and get them about 12 goals a season.

The simple fact is that United will struggle to sell him for anything approaching 20 million, and what does that say in today's market? If he was that good, loads of clubs would be after him, but the reality is that some very average clubs are balking at the idea of paying a fee that doesn't even exceed his release fee. He is a 15 million pound forward, in today's market

The market also said Andy Carroll was worth 35m.

BOSS THE MARKET INNIT

If the story is true, then I doubt any club would "baulk" at 12m.

His wage demands on the other hand.

They would balk at anything approaching 20 million, a figure that is less than his release clause that nobody wanted to activate. That really wouldn't be the case if he was the player some people have made him out to be. He's a 15 million pound forward who doesn't have a load of clubs chasing him. He'll end up at somewhere like Newcastle or West Ham.

Not sure why you keep mentioning his 23m release clause that was then, 23m is a LOT of money for a player such as Fellaini, 12m is not.

We paid 15m for him and he scored 33 goals, mostly from midfield, he was at times unplayable, at times lazy and disinterested, he was a top, top player for us, not perfect, but certainly not as bad as your trying to imply, I realise you have a different viewpoint of the player, a different viewpoint than probably around 90% of Everton fans, who thought Fellaini was a good player for us, thats fine, you are entitled to that viewpoint, personally I think your wrong.

As for now, 12m is buttons for a player of his quality and if we had an unlimited transfer kitty I would snatch him up tomorrow, but sadly we have a limited transfer kitty and a "luxury" player such as Fellaini is not on our shopping list.

I keep mentioning his release fee because it was a figure that overvalued Fellaini. He wasn't worth 23 million then, and he isn't worth 23 million now. If he was that ace people wouldn't be talking about signing him for 12 million, but they are, and there is a reason behind that.

I do question his reliability as a central midfielder, especially as a defensive central midfielder, but I have always rated him for the style of forward that he is. I just value him at a similar level to what West Ham paid for Andy Caroll (15 - 18 million), and don't rate him that good as a midfielder at all.

Lets just agree that he certainly wasnt worth the 27.5m that Moyes bought him for and laugh at that.

Ok?

I think almost everyone agrees with that. Even United fans, 90% of which consider him to be far worse than what I give him credit for.

Forgive me for not giving a flick as to what United fans think, most of them probably think Manchester is just outside London.
