Should he stay or should he go?

Wouldn't go that far mate. Don't get me wrong, think he could come good and he's occasionally been useful, but to seriously miss someone then you'd have to believe he'd been an integral part of our success this season. He simply hasn't.

I'd say we'd somewhat miss him, but more to the point I think we'd be missing a potentially very good asset next year.
the squad would miss him, unless you can replicate those qualities that impact the team later in games, having three pacy wingers means, apart from last night, you always have one on the bench to bring on, one of the biggest difference in the squad this season compared to last is having the ability to use impact players from the bench

Stay but needs a serious kick up the arse. All about him at the moment and is he unable to cut inside sometimes? seriously predictable

Aye agree, but I think we could sign a number of other players who could do the same thing. That's why I think saying we'd "sorely" miss him is a bit of an exaggeration.

Players we'd really badly miss are the likes of McCarthy, Barry, arguably Barkley and Distin. Don't think Deulofeu is in that bracket.

He's out to impress and make an impact, so he tries a bit too hard. He'd settle in if he got a proper run at it.

The more talent we have in the squad the better so it's an emphatic YES from me.

His teammates are becoming visibly frustrated at his inability to pick out an early pass.

Clearly talented, but very immature.

All said, yes. But I'd like to see Kennedy more next season.

Keep without a shadow of a doubt, or has everyone forgot already how in exactly the same way Ronaldo frustrated his first season at United, you don't spurn world class potential when its offered to you

He reminds me so much of Ronaldo when he first went to Utd, tricks and flicks, playing for himself and not the team. Obviously the main difference is Utd stuck with Ronaldo because he was their player and knew they'd benefit long term from his progression. The problem is while he's here "learning" he's taking up a potential place of either one of our own players or maybe a more consistent loan signing who'd offer more to the team now.

I'm not sure he's worth trying to bring back to be honest, I think we'd be better off with someone more consistent. He may turn out to be a very good player in a few years but by then he'll be playing elsewhere, he's not exactly been vital to us either and I'd think he'd be drastically missed.

Very good comparison that. Same sort of player, same level of potential.

Stay obviously. He's a mega talent waiting to happen, and if he gets a pre-season here and adjusts further to the English game, and gets a lot of work on his mentality when making decisions, then he's a very dangerous player.

At the moment, he's nowhere near that level, but he easily could be.

He has the type of talent mate that if it starts to click a little more then he will take off, same way Ronaldo did afetr bedding in and learning a bit

Ronaldo was Utds player to persevere with though, they could afford to let him develop over 2-3 years, we'd gain nothing out of the situation long term.

Aye i remember watching a very young Ronaldo and even as a blue getting annoyed at him with all his step overs, losing possession, greediness (which he definitely was early doors), then the following year he just took the league by storm

My biggest issue with him is one I have with Baines sometimes is they don't look where there passing in the final third they just put balls into where they think players should be. It doesn't matter if you put a world class ball in the box if there's no one there to get on the end of it.

I remember watching an interview with David Beckham, the best crosser to ever play the game, who said that's exactly what he did - not worrying about where the CFs are, just put the ball into an area he would want it as a CF. It's up to the strikers to get into those places.

who can say mate, theirs a list of Spanish players a mile long who failed to break the Barca and Real and Valencia squads after a few years of being loaned out who went on to become top class players, 2 years on loan and then if at a future point whoever is the Barca manager doesn't fancy him he could end up here long term, stranger things have happened, plus the second season he could explode and little things like that could be the difference between 5th 6th or top 4 with the ramifications it entails
