I seriously doubt any fan would not attend if we did move.
I dont agree with that at all. Why do we only get gates of 30,000 now then?
The supposed reason that thousands of our fans are staying away right now is because of obstructed views, high ticket prices and poor toilet facilities.
Christ, people even complain about the parking around Goodison despite the fact that that you can palk in and around the area of the Westminster and Elm Tree public houses (a 5minute walk from goodison) for FREE right up untill 3pm.
We all know that the game has changed and is forever changing.
Why on earth would a family of 4 (two adults two children) spend over £100 on a day out which involves standing in a que of 11,000 people (in the rain) trying to get on one of 200 buses (that leave every 15 seconds) just to drop you off in Aintree?
The same goes for the hour long que at the train station and the 45minute walk to your car.
Why will familes from North Wales and Wirral do this when they can just switch their laptop on and watch the match for FREE!!!!
I really cant see many children enjoying the experience of queing up in the rain for an hour, or in a que of 11,000 people.
I dont see why some people try their hardest to try and support this scheme? What is so great about it? It is clear to anyone that the scheme is ridiculous!!!!
The only people to benefit are Bill kenwright and Liverpool FC.
There is actually a very good short term benefit to the move to Kirkby tho, if we move and Bill sells up for 200 million pound and wipes out our debt, we will be left with a new stadium, debt free, and hopefully with a new rich owner this could bring us success.
However you would expect the same to happen whenever Bill sold.
Swapping the city of liverpool for Knowsley in an era when every single match can be watched via a laptop is absolutely suicidal.
People will not like queing for an hour in the rain AND PAYING OVER £100 TO DO SO.
The notion that it is the only option available is nonsense, we had the opportunity to build on the banks of the royal blue mersey less than 6 years ago, another, far better, location will come available if certain parties are wiling to negotiate.
We need an easily accessable stadium in the city.
Why would you pay £100 to que in the rain for an hour with your children when you can switch on your laptop and watch it for free?????
