Coverage of Everton in the media

Listen people, I am 12,000 miles away from Goodison, and I feel it. Our park should be jammed to capacity for our home games now, urging and desiring and compelling our team on. We have, for the first time in a generation, a footballing 'Big Bang' moment.

It will only do us good to keep up the positive portrayal of everton in the papers. The one thing that irritates me no end though is the "big six" centric nature of the papers, always focusing on the arse, scum, utd, city, chels and spurs.

the popular press is owned, bought and paid for. The monied classes that own it are tied into any/allcommercial enterprise that enriches them further. Football is included in this. What do you expect?
...and this is NOT a political statement...it is just how it it is....

Unfortunately we'll be lucky to get 33,000 on Saturday looking at the OS ticketing site. Not helped by an away support that won't number more than 300.

Speaking of laughable coverage, has anyone seen the official "Barclays Premier League Review" nonsense on Sky?

The first Everton bit of the highlights from the Arsenal game was the Pienaar shot in the second half, and the triple Arsenal sub was described as "showing the strength that Arsenal have on the bench".

I mean seriously, 'Dogs of War'.... FFS. How insulting is that?

We just beat Man Utd at Old Trafford and passed Arsenal off the park at the Emirates.

The next story will be

'Martinez. Baines. Barkley. Mccarthy. Barry. Everton to Man United'

Gets more ridiculous by the week

Rubbish. Park End and Paddock aren't far off being sold out. Even with the absolutely gash away support that Fulham will bring we'll be 34,500 or more. I'd be surprised if it's not ~ 35,000+.
