Completely different. Having a set piece specialist in your team can grab you points from nowhere. Beckham done it time and time again and if we didn't have Baines in the side against West Ham we were nailed on for a defeat.

Stubbs will be up the road from Everton very soon, he is and has been working effectively against the club that pays his wages, even as far back as the Rooney transfer. He will say whatever suits the agenda of Alan Stubbs. There..I said it....allegedly.

Would rather he stayed at Everton. This evertonisation of man utd is becoming a disgrace. You burnt us with fellaini who looks a million miles from a man utd player. THe fact cleverley is above him in the pecking order is proof. Really hope moyes has learnt his lesson and we go for shaw/coentrao. Younger+resale value if push comes to shove. Baines is incredibly overrated and has been for a LONG time. Two years ago Evra had a poor season during Suarez gate but since then he's been consistantly one of oru best players and one of our most influential players both on and off the pitch.

Proof baines is overrated? Man Utd left-back Patrice Evra has created more EPL chances this season (15) than Leighton Baines (11), despite playing 90 mins fewer.

Proof that its Moyes' tactics which exploited Baines ande made him look better than he actually is. Spending 20m on him would be a disgrace.

Moyes Tactics helped alot with that. Evra has created more chances than Baines this season the statsitics prove that. It's proof Moyes made him look better than he actually is.

I've pretty much accepted the fact that he'll be off. It's a shame but it makes business sense and all that. I wish we could get Shaw in to replace him but I doubt that would happen now.

Should have been at him about a new contract as soon as the first idiotic bid came in from United and made it public. I know Martinez said at the end of the window that they would talk but nothing has been said since.
