He plays for Everton, is young and has potential. He has my full support.

If he happens to end up the way of Rodwell .. Well we came out of that ok

The Wigan fans are rubbish and don't deserve a team except for the chairman, They are so bitter about Martinez and want him to fail at Everton, no respect for him winning the F.A cup for the club at all.

Done pretty well there having them all available but all teams in europe come in at round 3 so they must be. Dont actually expect them to be used in the COC though...maybe barry? think that will be a comp for the fringe players until it gets serious like the qtrs or semis

On a similar but seperate note Fellaini is cup tied and it would have been nice to watch him destroy the RS and put them out. For all the moyes stuff going on i still hate liverpool at least a million times more than i hate united.

No need for that mate.

You could say the same about some evertonians. They are so bitter about Moyes and want him to fail at Man Utd, no respect for him improving us from a relegation team to a team that competes at the top end of the table.
Moyes tried to get Baines from us and got Fellaini.
Martinez got Mccarthy and Kone from Wigan.

Martinez was more or less invited to bid on the Wigan players by old broken leg. Moyes wasn't encouraged at all by BK. Moyes hasn't dealt with the situation in a dignified manner and showed total disrespect to a club he spent 11 years at. Theres the difference.

We paid the actual asking prices for Kone and McCarthy mate.

Moyes took the piss until we shafted him

The fact Moyes knew about Fellainis clause...waited for it to expire, then offered £16M for him is all the proof you need that hes taken the pi55.

above posted is spot on. BK sat there in the press conference with RM and told journos him and Moyes have a gentlemans agreement in place blah blah blah. Did he not tell Moyes?

Whelan on the other hand basically threw the for sale sign on all his players, told the world Marinez could come and get them, he wouldnt stand in their way - we just had to pay what he wanted us to. Which we did...twice! the wiley old b@stard

Gotta hand it to whelan tbh, hes got almost £20M, for two players who -f you beleive the hysteria - are complete junk...from a club with virtually no disposable cash!

I was ok with him leaving, a chance he deserves, even tho he was working for Man u and meeting the man u staff while still still working for us which I chose to ignore out of respect. Martinez wouldn't even talk to us till after his final game. Then he made a 27 million bid for both of our players, ok its a starting bid, what ruined it for me was his interview trying to undermine our new manager in front of the media. Martinez paid the release clause for Kone, and paid over the odds for James McCarthy. Moyes soundbites have done my head in as well. "Finally I have a winning team" before Man u game v Liverpool. "I just wanted to get out alive" about Everton visiting Man u. Forget the other soundbite he used before the Man u v Chelsea game, it was another put down to everton. This is why ive lost respect for Moyes. Wigan won the F.A cup with Martinez and are in Europe and got good fees for their players. There is a massive different.

Also got to hand it to BK pal...not his biggest fan but he had a price for felli and not a penny less was going to be accepted..the price imo was 2.75 Mil to much so well played Bill.

Wigan got a decent deal for McCarthy in the end

Plus, Man United have vastly more money than Everton does

Man United were deliberately low balling where as Everton were low balling be necessity (Despite what the board says, the Felli money was needed so McCarthy could be bought IMO)

Still dirty pool to buy so many players from your former club though. Wigan have been properly compensated though, so there's good and bad points
