That's the thing, I am not against McCarthy as a player, purely that his signing means Fellaini is sold.

If its a one in/one out scenario that is bad business, if we get a few more decent players in, then I can live with it.

£25m for Fellaini, of which £2m goes straight to Standard, is not good. Spending £10m - £15m of it on McCarthy is INSANE, because regardless of whether McCarthy is worth it, we are left with too little to get the three squad players we already need.
