But the selling club agrees the transfer fee - not the player. So wages, and living in London, are utterly irrelevant to the transfer fee.
If we want someone to sit in the middle, win the ball and pass it then this lad will do a much better job then Fellaini. Fellaini is a good player advanced but he is not the defensive player he thinks he is, 24m is good money. McCarthy, Barkley and Gibson/Barry in my opinion is a very good midfield.
