I agree with his postioning and workrate, but i think your wrong about him being a creative force. I think in time he will devolp this part of his game. Passing like that comes with age and learning the runs your team mates will make.

Fernandes is playing in a different league, he has a lot more time on the ball and my memories of Tranny when he played for us was always sideways balls or any special balls he tried he would cock them up.

You didn't like him though.

Fellaini is a good passer, Fernandes's passing is on a different level. It doesn't matter if they where playing in Spain or England, Manny is simply better than him in that area.

Fernandes passing stats where always high, 79% last season on par with both Pienaar and Arteta. He lost the ball stupidly when he was unfit, that was all. Once he got fit towards the end of the season he very rarely gave the ball away.

What about Neville doing it against Liverpool last season? Ignoring Moyes and ragging the coat off one of the coaches. Players are passionate, he was obviously dissapointed he'd been taken off as was Phil Neville last season.

No one said anything then because it's Neville. But because this is Yakubu people make a big thing about it. If players like Arteta, Yak, Fernandes etc aren't playing well there attitude is always questioned.

I don't agree with it to be honest. Yakubu is Yakubu, that's how he always plays. He doesn't work hard and he never has done. His attitude has never changed since he got here, he's simply having a bad patch.

He's an easy target because of the way he plays, that's just the way it is.
