Hello lads

I'm a belgian football fan and I've been reading this forum since one of our most talented players became a member of your squad, took me a while to start posting but after tonight I just couldn't keep myself from subscribing anymore!

I only saw the highlights on MOTD so I was wondering if Marouane played a decent game in general?

I would say no. I heartily sugget the American west can be awe inspiring. The grand canyon, yellowstone, oregon coastline, yosemite, the rocky mountains. Houston... not so much. Nice place to live but not inspring. If you are hititng the coast, how about La Jolla-Del Mar.

Again, people getting excited. He's a good player but theres alot of flaws in his game that he needs to work on.

Our centre midfield of Osman and Fellaini will get absolutely raped if we continue with it.

Most 20 year olds have flaws in there game. Most players in general have flaws in there games, that's life.

Fellaini has scored 3 goals in 8 games, he's having an impact so ofcourse people are going to be excited. He'd doing well.

What would you do with the midfield? How would you line up.

He needs to work on his workrate and positoning imo. He is a good passer of the ball however, not enough to be a creative force like a Manuel Fernandes but a player who can pass the ball well, which is nice.

I think our team is most comfortable with a 4-5-1, it's obvious, it would also give Fellaini a licence to roam around and be a box to box player he clearly is. In a 4-4-2, he has to learn to be more disciplined, and it clearly doesnt suit his game.

We NEED a defensive midfielder, without question. I'd actually go with Rodwell in the defensive midfield slot for the next game as i believe we should go with the 4-5-1, i think we may see the best from Fellaini with that formation.

Swap Yakubu for Saha and I agree. I want to see the Yak/Cahill alongside each other again. It works, it's tried and trusted and believe they compliment each other most.

I agree about 4-5-1, we simply don't have the midfield to dominate a game with 4-4-2. Against some teams at home we could be I wouldn't use it against top sides or sides away from home.

Defensive midfield I don't really mind, both Rodwell and Castillo are a bit off in terms of positioning. Either one would do me although I don't think Rodwell could play week in week out. He'd get burned out.

I agree with his postioning and workrate, but i think your wrong about him being a creative force. I think in time he will devolp this part of his game. Passing like that comes with age and learning the runs your team mates will make.

Fernandes is playing in a different league, he has a lot more time on the ball and my memories of Tranny when he played for us was always sideways balls or any special balls he tried he would cock them up.
