Shareholders Association force EGM

Feels like a truce in Korea.

Perfectly reasonable questions are asked in the south a frosty response with hardly any detail glares back from the north fingers hovering above the nuke button.

Glad we're not called Everton United - what a fckn joke.

KEIOC's only agenda was for the good of our football club.

Cannot believe how they have been abused by a certain section of Evertonians.

Thats bang on mate I am not a member of the Blue Union but would like to thank them for all there efforts, but until the brain dead masses that support us realise who the real enemy is we have no chance of ever moving forward as a serious contender again.

Brain dead masses? Just because no one can do anything about the situation doesn't mean they they are brain dead.

If all these "brain dead" fans said "Kenwright out" tomorrow, nothing would change. Why can't people understand this.

No doubt it will not chamge so should we thank heaven for BK being in charge and clap him?? or should we make clear our disquiet with the way the club is run and certain board members lack of interest??

Ah you poor lamb, how old are you?

You may have noticed, though more likely missed it, by only reading one part of story, but the comment made there was in response to one of your cohorts thinking that that members of the BU are being "abused". So pipe down.

I half expected a response like that mate. We all know the answer to that.

Yes, we should. Problem is, when people realise nothing can immediately be done, they blame people who clapped him who probably don't post on here and don't get into politics.

Making out these people are part of the problem is absolute rubbish, and that's what a lot of posters who don't like Kenwright on here seem to do. It's easier to blame people we've never met than take on the corporate and legal challenge that is sorting out the club.

I reckon maybe 1 in 50 posters on here actually think Kenwright is doing an okay job, then after being poilitely presented with information that is factual and accurate from a solid sauce, actually change their mind when educated on these matters.

Too many blues attitude is "you should be educated on the club...!!!", rather than "can we help educate you as a fan...".

basic logic, rather than emotional ramblings that get us nowhere.

This is just my opinion.

Fair point but do you agree with me that if everton fans have,nt got it after 13 years then it,s gets frustrating for thoose who have held a course to educate...ask colin fitz how frustrating it,s been over the last 13 years to get the message through to the fan base.

To you and him IF you feel aggrieved its not that difficult to find Police outside GP on match days, go to him and report the matter.

If you and he didnt then obviously both of you didnt feel it was important.

Get a grip.

I love how people describe the 'BU' as if they're some sort of pariahs, when you've got a board of directors who don't invest in the club, the 2nd largest majority shareholder can't even be arsed to turn up to the EGM let alone attend any EFC games, we've got a CEO saying Everton aren't a big club, and then the day after the AGM (perfectly timed wouldn't you say?) our former manager (technically still under EFC contract for 3 more days) lodges a derisory offer for our best player.

Yet some people make out the BU are some kind of problem.

Get a grip will yers!

If the bulk of supporters stood up and put real pressure on Kenwright he would have to start looking for a buyer instead of going through the motions.Of course if you are happy with the boards efforts then there is no need for change so carry on doing what you are doing nothing.

Yes I agree mate. I feel that frustration. I feel it every time I hear Everton mentioned on radio, on TV, when work colleagues talk about our team. It's so bizarre it's unreal what they see from a combination of not being arsed and quite happily believing the media in general.

So we're left in this position were we want to do something. There's options but no quick or easy ones. Fans are trying their different routes with the Blue Union, KEIOC, the shareholders getting the EGM. As I quite recently found, the power of Social Media when it comes to Citizens vs Companies is very strong and it was quite amazing that the EGM was relayed live to people who couldn't be there. This must horrify the Board as this information cannot be controlled anymore.

I seriously think the board are unknowingly pulling the rug from under themselves here. Kenwright's quotes will last forever now. I bet he didn't think that when he said it as inside its still days gone by where things like that became rumour once repeated to anyone outside the confines of an AGM.

That's why I am massively against blues slating other blues with regards to their current knowledge about the situation. A factual approach without sensationalist and sarcastic remarks will always be the better way of getting support. I've found whenever I meet blues they are all types of people with all sorts of professions from all walks of life. We all share one love but yet instead of working together in small bits we bicker and argue in remarkable ways.

We should start by painting the stadium blue.
