Meanwhile, with everyone in the Everton world knowing that the best player we have is being lined up by Manure, evertonfc.com are very happily chugging along by not even telling them to do one but promoting the shoite spouted last night by Kenwright and Elstone.

i'd rather we just ignore united anyway tbh. treat the **** bid with the disdain it deserves. wouldn't have even rejected it, would have just ignored it and possibly make them feel we were considering it. by rejecting it, it's inviting them to come back now quickly with a better bid that will make us think and so on all summer long.

would rather just ignore it and then in a month's time they think, well that didn't go well, maybe we should make a new bid and this time not waste their time

By 'wouldn't have even rejected it, would have just ignored it and possibly make them feel we were considering it' makes them think they are in with a chance and invites a bid quicker.

Would appreciate any help from anyone in the know on Everton Shares. I finally decided to buy a share, (as an Xmas gift) and I have just received the contract note after having made payment.

However, in the letter it states ".... the transaction will now proceed to the Club's Directors for final verification and approval at their next meeting and the certificate will then follow on in due course". Does anyone know how frequent these "meetings" are and hence how long I might need to wait for the certificate?
