Moyes Demands Apology

About to say the same thing, Respect goes both ways, how can we respect them, if they dont do the same?

But...when was the last time a referee explained his decision - and further more apologised?!

Yup, it's sad. When a manager tries to follow the rules and don't comment about poor referees he'll get even more bad calls against his team, while a manager that blatantly goes out and critizies referees gets more of the 50-50 and 40-60 calls with him.

A referee is just a man like anyone else and should be able to stand up for a bad call. After all they are men, not snotty little 7-year olds that tries to push the blame on someone else.

As far as respect goes I think under the circumstances our players behaviour was beyond reproach and what ever Dave said to the snide fourth official was spot on.as for apologies are you forgetting we are not a Sky 4 team so we dont count .the bastards:@

Does make you wonder even more if he forgot we are only allowed one penalty a season and that we had already been given it.

Bet he gets a slap on the wrsit from the FA for that and his linesman gets a nice big bonus in his wage packet next week!

Thing is he new it was a penalty, and his linesman didnt have a good perspective of the incident, so i shouldve asked the linesman if it was a foul or not, not a penalty or freekick.

Thing is, he gave it. Then he consulted his linesman.

Its not like he didnt give it and only gave the decision based on the opinion of the linesman.

The linesman must of bene 100% convinced it was outside, so Wiley must of thought that was more convincning then his belief it was inside.

If so why did Wiley give a penalty for handball he wasn't 100% convinced about? You dont give one just cause you think it might of been a penalty do you.

No matter what they say the whole incident stinks and i'm so glad it didn't cost us, had enough of that last season.

Wiley is a shocking referee that is ALWAYS beyond reproach, there'll be no apology coming from him, and DM will end up answering a disrepute charge.Common sense will not prevail.

Idiotic sending off.

However, it was funny seeing him sit with the crowd though and as usual showed alot of class by shaking the Stoke's fans hands at the end of the match.

Absolutely shocking decision - maybe Wiley has been chosen by the [Poor language removed] to be their "special friend" type referee this year with Twatenberg having a bit of gardening leave !:@:@

My main worry with this is that with Moyes being the first (I think) to get his marching orders this year whether they will set out to make an example of him ?:(

Totally agree - showed a lot of class and it was clear that the stoke fans around him thought that as well(y)

I think the FA will love it, that Moyes the first manager to get his marching orders this season. Moyes had the FA by their balls regarding the Clattenberg incident and I'm afraid it will be pay-back time. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised, if Moyes misses the RS game at Goodison.

Unbelievable the amount of refereeing decisions against us, in the last couple of years. Luckily enough, this time it didn't cost us in the end. Hate te call by the FA to "respect' eachother, as it's quite clearly a two way thing. So when can Everton Football Club expect some respect back from the men appointed by that same FA?
