Moyes has failed the test

That's the point though. We're aiming to make less mistakes than the sides around us who I believe we are round about equal to.

I'm not sure we did.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Just don't see us as equal to the teams above us right now.

Starting 11 maybe, squad no chance.

Yeah we played Naismith a bit early on, he'd been alright in pre season, and even scored a few in the season.
Thing is, if he was at City, United, Spurs, Chelsea or Arsenal he wouldn't even have got a look in as their squads are so superior.

Our first 11 is as good as any team on their day, our squad isn't though. That's the problem. If Jelavic isn't scoring we have no replacement.

Sandro
Adebayor
Holtby
Sigurdsson
Naughton
Friedel
Caulker

vs

Naismith
Heitinga
Oviedo
Duffy
Mucha
Hibbert
Neville

And the thing is, Spurs have suffered with injuries this year, they should have Kaboul in their side too.

It's not even a contest really.

We're certainly not better than Arsenal or Spurs on a squad level.

No but we have been lucky with injuries and picked few suspensions up which will always be a factor.

Plus we've had to play less games than both as we weren't in Europe so the demands on the squad are lessened.

Forget the 'big' games, we've done alright, not brilliant but alright.

Its throwing away all the games we should have won (Newcastle (H), Norwich (H), Fulham (A) etc...).

I'm not a massive Moyes fan these but I wouldn't say any of the aforementioned games were thrown away by him.

Mirallas and Gibson were missing for large parts of the season ? And that's on top of our already small squad.

We've also been without Jags for several games, had Fellaini suspended, Pienaar suspended twice etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong mate but the subs don't play each other. Throw our manager rarely makes proper use of his subs and you have a lot riding on the first 11 when that doesn't have to be the case.

I'm not saying we've had no injuries just relatively few serious ones. Spurs have had Sandro & Parker on long termers, Defoe the same or playing with an injury, problems at CB etc.

I'm saying we've been fairly lucky with them as we needed to be to get up there.

Our subs are ****e, thats why.

And Spurs have about five centre halves, we have three, one of whom has been s***e.

If Defoe is out they still have Adebayor, who has been poor this season but is still an okay option.

Even with Sandro and Parker out, they have better CM options off the bench than we do.

etc.
