I hope one of the Rawk Lurkers on here takes this back to Rawk and the author gets shown up for the one eyed bitter and twisted barsteward he is.

But he will probably get lauded over on there as some kind of hero.

The Worlds a funny place.

Teeheehee

I'm not saying he will and lets face it it's unlikely but I remember a few years ago we'd all written him off but last year he scored a derby hat-trick (something one of ours hasn't done for nearly 100 years) and this season he's been back to dragging them through games.

Sadly for us I can see him hanging round a good few more years .

Fair point mate, I thought injuries had caught up with him & his legs had gone about 2 years ago, but he's come back strong this season & despite not being the player he was in his pomp, he's still a class act.

But another 5 years? Not a chance imo, I don't think he's capable of being a Scholes / Giggs type, he's well on the downslope & I think we'll look back at this season as his Indian summer.

No I'd be surprised if he made it that long but I just mean i think given his history we'd be foolish to write him off .

Oh I know mate, the day he retires is one every Evertonian will lift a glass I reckon.

I think all the signs are there that he's slowing down & I hope he manages to screw another mega money long term deal out of the ****e, as he's got another year left as it is, if they add another 3 on top of that, then I don't think they'll get value out of it.

He'll raise his game against us and United for as long as he can, but I can sort of live with that if he keeps stinking the joint out every other game. He's been muck this season, utter garbage and long may it continue.

yeah, he's been ****e every time i've seen him, scoring penalties doesn't change that. we gifted him that hat-trick last season, were all open goals and i don't remember him doing much else. his game was based mainly on stamina, that's clearly fading away
