We are worrying because we are looking at signing crocks and old men. We have lost two home games out of two, against teams we should be beating. Our defence who is supposed to be solid as been [Poor language removed]. Lescott who is supposed to be the key player has been [Poor language removed].

Agree... our defense has been horrible.. 8 goals allowed in 3 games, against teams that we should beat. 6 of those goals are at home!!
I won't place the blame solely on our defenders.. they are getting swamped by the opposition due to our horrible defensive work on the midfield.

I am taking it as it is, we have lost two home games to sides we need to beat, we can't afford to drop home points against teams outside of the top 4. Otherwise its mid-table, and all the good work for the past two years would be for nothing.

It's only been 7 mate, ignore what the official site says, ran by a bunch of monkeys.
There not mate, were leaking goals due to the elementary mistakes. It's easy to point the finger at the 2 lads in the middle. They may be offering nothing offensively (even though yesterday as a team we created loads of chances) but defensively there up to it and rarely is anyone playing through them creating chances.
How can Jags or Rodwell be blamed for yesterday 1st off a long throw that Crouch flicked on, Defoe controlled, Lescott allowed Defoe to turn and it's in the back of the net or Santa Cruz's from a long punt from left back and Lescott was maneuvered out the way. I could go on, Glenn Jonston skinned our left back yesterday for the 2nd (as he did last year time and time again when Carsley was playing) and whilst Lescott & Baines ball watched slotted an easy goal.
It's fat too easy to blame the central 2, if senior players had done there jobs it may have been a different story. We missed many good chances and an average team who came set up for a draw (by choice) took advantage of our poor individual defensive mistakes and punished us.
