Implying I wanted Everton to loose was a far bigger insult than that.

But maybe he doesn't care about Everton? Win or loose, it's the same to him. Come Monday morning, I will still be pissed off.

I think people also forget how important A.J., Mcfadden, and Carsley were to us last season as well to be honest.

Don't get me wrong, I think we made a tidy profit on A.J and Faddy, and I guess Carsley wanted to be 1st team-which, now his legs have gone, we cannot have relied on.

We will sign some players before the end of the transfer window, the quality of those players may be in question but we need the numbers.

I can think of 4 players who left the club.

Manny, Mcfadden, AJ and Carsley.

I won't coment about how important they were or weren't, but we got no cover for any of them.

Do you realise what a tit you make yourself by pointing out spelling mistakes? I mean, if that's all you can think of as a rebuttal...

Just to add to this : we ended last season with six regular midfielders who we relied on game after game. Two of them have left. No bloody wonder that a small thing like a broken toe leaves us in disarray. We are probably three decent midfielders short of where we need to be. To say that we're in virtually the same position as last year is simply not true.

Of course things could change between now and the 31st. But there's precious little to suggest that we're any closer to a signing now than at any time in the last month, and it won't get any easier. Moyes for one sounds less than convinced that new signings will be on the way.

Today's game should be a harsh reality check to anyone who thinks we have a hope in hell of getting into Europe with the present squad.

Your forgetting we have lost Johnson, Fernandes, McFadden, Stubbs, Wessels, Gravesen.

All these players contributed something to the success last season and made us have a a squad.
