Worst Everton player in Moyes' Era

Has no-one considered Carlo Nash? I know he wasn't expensive but he really is a non-entity as a pro footballer. Neverever was he really going to challenge for the number one spot and seemingly just moves around clubs picking up a wage bench warming. Similarly Mucha is arse as he can't displaced Howard and when he does get in the team is prone to a gaff or doesn't inspire his defence.

Jermaine Beckford has to be a shout for 'worst player' as he was amazingly clumsy and uncultured, but just had a part jammy, part instinctual knack for hitting the net. But a pure footballer he was not.

James Beattie cosy 6 million DM paid that for him when the was a guy at Crewe going for 1 million and was a far better player {Dean Ashton} Beattie scored one pen in one whole season, & DM still picked him utter crass of an apology of a centre forward!

Dean Aston went on to have 4 good seasons before a tragic injury could have had him for 5 million cheaper than JB Bah!

Rodrigo was a Brazilian AM/ST who turned up on a 12 month loan and got injured after playing a game or half a game in training. He went back to Brazil for the 12 months to recover. Weifeng came as part of the Kejian deal (nice Puma home shirt) that also saw midfield marathon man Li Tie arrive. Weifeng was a never used defender - I feel he came so Tie didnt get so homesick and lonely.

yep, i remember

Are we still on this thread and actually still bothered?

What point does it serve debating the 'worst' player?

We've discussed worst/best everton players in your lifetime, before. Don't see the harm in it, tbh.

Just sharing memories. Like worst/best games etc.

Fair enough.

Maybe I'm different, I just respect anyone who wears the Royal Blue, good or bad

Is it disrespecting them to say they were bad, though?

My dad and grandad have told me as many horror stories about bad players as glory stories about good ones. "You should have seen some of the trash we watched in the 70s and so on."
