Leave Bill Alone...

Considering Moyes has come out in numerous occasions now and said he wants new players in before the start of season would account for it not being his fault. Kenwright has said nothing all summer.

If the funds were there, Everton would have bought by now. This is the Everton money men trying to get him on the cheap, as per usual. Sporting gave Everton a price of around £19m, so they bid just under £12m. If the funds were there, just pay the club what they want, he is a superb young International footballer who would walk into any team in the Premiership.

If money was there, why are we not bidding for the other players we desperately need ? It's all paper talk at the moment. The only confirmed bid i remember was for Aaron Ramsey.

Well the fact that we did bid for Aaron Ramsey early on, proves we had money and David is not using it.

Perhaps Moyes is not happy with the budget he has been given, I don't know. I just don't think its purely down to the chairman, I would say Moyes needs to pull his finger out more. We know he is a great coach, but we also know that during transfer windows, its unbearable.

I remember Micknick last season stating how he enjoys the speculation that the transfer window brings. How about now? I think its the worse part of football.

All I am saying is, its not always the Chairmans fault.

Collins English Dictionary: Chairman n person in charge of a company's board of directors or a meeting.

Kenwright is the man who needs to take responsibility for the running of Everton Football Club. I would love to learn how much finances Bill has put into his theatrical enterprises in comparison to what he has put into this great club, a club he is supposed to love. If you ever bump into Bill ask him a simple question, a question that he will not be able to answer. "What is your first love Mr Kewright, Everton Football Club or the Theatre? Sir John Moores would be doing cartwheels if he knew what was going in the boardroom!

Ok, but he also gives a substantial amount of responsibility to the manager to meet and greet players, to decide who he wants, to decide if he wants him, and to maintain a solid interest in a player.

Do you know Steevie?

Is'nt that what a managers job is all about?? You would not want a chairman who dictated what players where bought and sold, what a chairman is expected to do however is give the manager the sufficient funds to enable him to strike deals and big bill is not doing that at a time when it really matters.

The manager does not strike deals. He gives the chairman a list of players he wants. The chairman and other members of the board go and make the deals. All major clubs operate that way.

How do you know he's not giving the manager sufficient funds when it matters?

Your just speculating on the fact that we have not signed anyone. That could be down to the manager dithering. Do you not think that something is going on at boardroom level? I personally believe Moyes is not completely on board, and is waiting for the Kirkby thing to happen or not, so he knows which direction the club is heading. Until he is certain, I believe that he is stuttering on signings, and all this talk about we need players to come in, is just code for - not willing to put my neck on the line until I know the outcome of the clubs future.

You see the manager and the chairman have both said there is money for players, and players will come in. So why do you automatically think its the chairman who is putting the blockers on things?

You knew what i meant:). Why do you think i am holding no blame on our Davey Moyes. Kenwright and co simply are not doing the job they should be doing, "FULL STOP".

Yes but you don't know that. Its your opinion. Unless you know facts, then you can't go and make accusations about people not doing their job correctly.

You dont need to be Heinstein. We all can see the facts right in front of our own faces now and we apparently have £25 million to spend. Here is a question for you... How much of this £25 million have we spent with just 11 days of the new campaign to go???

There is money there, so why hasn't Moyes at least got a replacement in for Carsley? He's playing a dangerous game in waiting so long. If he rates M'Bia, which i think he does, then why is the guy not with the rest of the lads? Or is he still "unsure" about which players he really likes?

Heinstein? It's Einstein mate.

What are the facts? List them and back them up.

Where is this £25m? where have you got that information from? How do you know the chairman is not out that trying to cut deals, and the manager is gazumping them? How do you know that?

You don't know anything mate, no disrespect, but you just don't. Your formulating opinions based on speculation and tabloid tattle, and then calling them facts.

The only fact we know is that the club have not signed any players. But that fact does not mean that the club are not giving Moyes any money.
