Thats all just a bit ridiculous if you ask me.

I appreciate the feelings for us, its nice to see in a footballer but i really don't see any problem in him doing his job but against us, wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

Got nothing to do with loyality, we let him go because he was past it. If someone else in the Prem wanted him to play for them it wouldn't be unloyal to us in any way if he did.

I reckon its cause he knew he couldn't hack it in the Prem anymore so was too scared to play for anyone else[/not serious!)
 
Knowing that he'll be gone by the time we play Sunderland, he hasn't gone back on his word at all - he said he wouldn't want to play against us and he hasn't broke that.

As long as he doesn't play against us, I'm happy. Hell I'd be happy to see him score a couple against Arsenal and take the pressure off 4th too.

I'm sure I heard that interview a few weeks ago.

No matter, windows shut now anyway but I admire his sentiment.
