Great guy and gave everything for us. But to bring him back now?, No. I would rather put the money we would pay on wages to better use.

If Moyes brings him back then that means he thinks he can have some sort of impact and that's good enough for me. So, in short, if he returns - fine; if he doesn't return - fine.

how can you say that mate he bleeds blue met him in news bar in 2005 said hes never wanted more than playing for the royal blue guaranteed to get you 10 goals a season stats speak for themself the young player are clearly not ready!! thank god you dont pick the team no offence mate but moyes is right on this one loan the kids out maybe get experience like benayoun and cahill back to secure 4th!! maybe lampard pay as you play would love to see timmy punching the flag again.

So does Dave Hickson, shall we give him a run up front so Jelavic can have a rest?

Why would we want Tim Cahill back honestly? He has found his level now, which he should of done maybe 18 months ago.

The last 18 months while at us, he hindered us seriously, stopping play constantly by needlessly fouling players, not scoring which was his main ability.

We have said goodbye to him, and now that should be the end of it.

Watching Tim play out his last few months was tantamount to watching a lame dog draw it's final breath. You remembered the salad days of him appearing like the shop keeper from Mr Benn, totally out of the blue, rising like a salmon over defenders twice his height to bullet a header past a hapless 'keeper, running to the corner and chinning the corner flag. Moyes, being the sad romantic that he was, would always refuse to sub him, despite him flagging in games and giving away silly free kicks and being obnoxious to refs. To have him back, would be solely a gesture of gratitude. he never got to say a real "Goodbye" to the Everton faithful and take a lap of honour etc...

For me, he left at the perfect time and has found his notch amongst similar level players in the MLS. Arsenal did it with Henry and it was to sell shirts and lift the teams and fans moral.. Personally, I'd rather turn on YouTube and watch him in those compilation videos than in the Royal Blue again, knowing what he once was. It would be like bringing Duncan Ferguson on and expecting him to be the man he was in 1995..it;s never gonna happen :(

Go fanboy Chelsea anyhow. Not sure of your support for the Toffees after that nutter.

I nearly turned after moist didn't get Barkley on against Wigan but Cahill will be the one to finally push me.

Gonna be tough to know who to cheer for on Sunday though. I might wear my Everton shirt but speak in a Russian accent all day so i've got both bases covered.

I could have sworn he'd said that he'd never imagine himself in another Premier League club's shirt. Or am I imagining it?
