Realisitc Transfers

Hey lads and ladies,

Just a quick question about transfers for the summer, i know we have been linked to Arshavin, Moutinho and Joaquin but apart from the Russain, are the other two realisitic? Ive been reading that people think Toffee fans are a bit negative but i am a bit worried. If we couldnt attract and sign the likes of Ramsey and Gera (who i know arent exactly firestarters) what chance do we have of attracting this bigger name stars.

I think Arshavin is a done deal, i really do and i think Manny is staying however i dont think Moutinho or Joaquin would come here, in saying that since i live in Australia and i dont really know alot about the "footballing culture in England", why cant Everton attract and sign these players?

Also, ive read Sidwell is on his way out of Chelsea and it could be on a free. Do you think we would take him on a free? Be honest.

I also think Tim Howard is one of the best GK's in the EPL, but he is getting on and we dont have a legit backup, should we be shopping and who is a realisitic target?

Tim Howard's 29 isn't he? I wouldn't say that was getting on, especially not for a keeper. We do need someone decent to keep him on his toes though.

I agree, with the amount of games we have to play this season, we need a backup keeper. We let Wessels go so im wondering who are eyeing up?
 
Dont matter, anyone instead of wessles. He must be the worst keeper between our posts in a long time. Made paul gerrard look like shilton, an siminson look like nev.
 

Backup keeper: Jags!! Jags played pretty well in goal against Arsenal and helped preserve a 1-0 victory against them. Warnock never dressed a keeper in matches when he was playing for Sheff Utd.

Though if we really do need one I think Steele, the guy who was on loan at Barnsley and now on West Brom would do OK.
