Well he was good but he wasn't amazing. It wasn't like watching Maradona against Belgium in the 86 World Cup semis. It wasn't like watching Kaka in the CL final.
The whole side played well, and Arshavin was also very good - but he's on the wrong side of his 20's.
But would be nice to see some Everton fan's show some [Poor language removed] respect for their club. We finished 5th last season, 5th! We were excellent in Europe and we have some of the best young players coming through. So please get some pride and have some faith, otherwise supporting Tranmere may be the best option.

I can't see the likes of Bayern, Milan and Arsenal going in for him to be honest. He's quality but he wouldn't get into any of the teams mentioned. If they entered the race though I agree we'd have no chance.
Against the likes of Newcastle, Villa, Spurs, Man City etc we have every chance though. There are alot of positives to joining Everton and players are starting to realise this.
If Spurs can get Modric we can get Arshavin.

Maybe sleep on it and have a think, but trust me my friend its a lonely place being depressed about football. I've just spent the last 3 month's rotting on BlueKipper, they revel in depression over there.

we are the best of the rest (sorry to quote the papers) but we have a real chance to get in that top four if we sign moyes first (fook the rest of the speculation this would be are biggest signing) then let him have who he wants!! and i believe the board will do it!!!!!!!!!! ( hope)

Well if the board don't back Moyes, then they have no ambition. Well I don't believe the board are lacking in ambition, and I believe they fully recognise what they need to make it happen.

I see the positives, but a non Everton person does not see all of what we do. The reality is, we have not signed big name players at their peak for a long time. We've signed players from big clubs who were not getting regular football (Arteta, Howard, Neville) and been successful with championship players stepping up. It's really hard to see Arshavein or someone like him joining EFC unless we are the only offer. Really hope I'm wrong and your are laughing at this post in 2 weeks.
I still think without been able to attract the big names, Moyes can build a team that will be top 4 though.
