It's "rip-off Britain" 
It's the cost of housing that gets me in the UK. We've just bought a four bedroom house in Denmark with nearly 5 acres of land, a barn, and an outhouse. Cost was just £85,000 (although we need a new roof) and this is in a country where wages are higher than the UK.

The rise in food and energy costs are just as bad if not worse than the cost of running a car, i tried running a house and a car before something had to give, and so i dumped the wheels as to me, a car became a luxury that i could simply not afford.

having moved back to the uk i've been well brassed off by the amount of tax rises, new taxes and stealth taxes since i returned, one thing that came available was a cheap getaway so what do the gov. do they slap a tax on leaving terra firma, any way they can bum is without lube they do.
as for cars well they are just about getting us any way they can, cash cow speed cameras, inflated road tax, expensive insurance, and fuel which gets taxed and then has vat added so we are paying vat on tax.....isn't vat for goods and services received ? i dont know about you but i dont class being taxed as receiving any kind of commodity or service.
and a premier league full of overpayed primadonnas who earn more in 1 year than we do in a lifetime then flick 2 fingers up at us by demanding more. if a bloke who kicks a bag of wind about can blow 5 million on a wedding then he's getting payed too much.
it's time for a revolution, maggie knocked the heart and soul out of the working class in this country and it's time it fought back, lets do it before she pops her clogs just to piss her off.

I found out the hard way this week the wifes sister or rather her neihbour phoned to say she is in hospital as she lives a lone naturally the wife pannicks so I hop in the car put £40 in and off to chichester we go now last time I went I put £30 and got there this time I had to get more in Southampton and after taking the wife to see her sister we drove home total round trip of just over 400 miles petrol cost £85 what a rip off.

I've got a feeling that more cars are stolen in the UK than anywhere else in the western world. Not got the stats to hand, but I'm sure I read something to that effect.

Im gettinga new one in August and im not happy its got to be "wheel chair friendly" according to the wife she means wheel chair accessible cant decide betweem horizon a Renault thats very similar to the kango or the belingo main thing they all have ramp and hoist but look eek prefer another scenic grande but its all the lifting.- Status
