gravesen was never as good without carsely in the team. carsley allowed gravesen to be the amazing player that he was for us... all over the pitch. It's the reason Gravesen was terrible at Madrid, Celtic and even when he came back after Carsley went to Brum

i'm obviously in the minority on this, but i didn't think he was that great yesterday. went missing for me at times and i didn't see him making too many tackles, though i suppose thats not always a bad thing for a holding midfielder. not saying he had a bad game, the whole team played excellent, i just didn't think it was a standout performance by him at all.
that being said though he's a revelation for us, the way he frees up fellaini to go forward is crucial

I meet gibbo at the euros and asked him why he wasn`t playing, was he injured? his answer was "am i **** injured,don't know why he won't pick me".There is previous between him and trap when gibbo was at united, and trap is a thicko. The way i caught darren's attention was"darren,darren,gwladys street end over ere" and he was straight over,photo's the whole lot no problem. Nice fellow who can play a lot further up the pitch and is very dangerous in the opponent's box as well
