On reflection like!

If im honest, im not myself, hes never fillled me with confidence, ive said in the past he has MANY faults.

But its still not a postion I feel we need to act on, he does a job and im fairly happy with him retaining his postion as Evertons number 1.

Hes no Nev, but Christ who is?

Martyn came close, I had faith in that fella.

Martyn was the second coming of Nev. Ace defined.

Howard is alright, but flaps at most things. I remember that Drogba goal were he volleyed it about 30 yards out, and it just went over his head. Annoyed me that did. Think that planted the seed of doubt.

As ace as Martyn was mate he doesn't even come close to big Nev.

Howard underrated by Evertonians and overrated by Americans. Still, he's a top 10 keeper in the world. The man has won best keeper in the prem, golden gloves at the confederations cup (over Casillas and Cesar), IFFHS top 10 three times, and was named 17 on the IFFHS on a list of best keepers of the 21st century in 2011. He's a top quality keeper, and we're lucky to have him.

I think we're going to see Boyd in a big league inside of a few seasons, he's got a lot of promise.

What our right back was doing there to be able to finish that backheel, I don't know :)

I think if he keeps up his progress, a return to the Bundesliga will be on the cards sooner than most expect.

Well you can't please everyone I suppose. But Howard is loved by many and deservedly so. I rate him in the top five keepers for us. Including the likes of Ted Sager, Gordon West, Nigel Martyn and Big Nev.

His weak spot is the outside box missiles that he doesn't seem to judge consistently.
