Rodwell to City!!!!

I still rate Rodwell and think he'll develop into a better player at City taking on the De Jong role, so I'm sorry to lose him but if given the choice between losing him, Baines, Fellaini or Heitinga then I would have chosen to lose Jack. Worst thing is that Moyes will probably see about £4M of whatever the fee is and most supporters won't question why.

RE: the Fellani or Baines argument, thats like asking whether you wanna lose your fingers or toes given the choice.

Er, i'd actually rather not lose any of them given THE OPPORTUNITY.

Toes lad defo toes

I would probably say he broke into the first-team last season before he got injured.

EDIT: Before that RS diver cheated him out of the derby.

Yeah but i don't really think he did much for us, and he hasn't been able to keep his place in the team for a long period of time, maybe because of injuries. I just think we have better players in that position than him.

Haha.

I'll use my last emergency supply of optimism and say, you know what I would lose my toes if someone offered to replace them with cyber robot toes that made me run twice as fast.

Let's see what money we get, and what we do with that money.

And then, if we don't make signings or don't make appropriate ones, I shall reopen the fume gates.

I like rodwell, I didn't want to sell, but now that it's happened, I can look forward. End of last season I posted saying I fully expect we will lose at least one of Fellaini, baines, or rodwell, and I'm thrilled that rodwell is the choice.

Looking forward, does this move open the door for Dempsey AND Donovan? Or does Barkley immediately claim all of Rodwell's minutes? I'm very happy with either of these scenarios.

If Neville now claims all of rod's minutes and we don't bring anyone in, then we just moved backwards.

Ross Barkley will be sold next summer if he plays and impresses hence he won't be used this season.

Dempsey and Donovan are not CM which we severely lack and besides they are 30.
