Phillips will be half of what we have received for Rodwell and the rest going to the bank.

To be fair I think phillips could do well here, but I don't us to be a club where we have to sell one of our best young talents, and one of our own, to bring in a right winger from the second flight.

I'm so gutted but this is a positive for the club. He always was injured and we always played our best football without him. He would command a decent fee and for the love of god i hope most of the money gets reinvested into the squad. I would love for us to get 15 mil + Johnson and Dzeko on loan with a view to buy. Think the problem we have is with the new british players quota, any young british talent we have is gonna be snapped up by the money clubs,leaving us with young players which are just not good enough, just to satisfy the quotas.
Imo this is gonna make it even more difficult to bridge the gap.
