sadly i think we all know dempsey will be the first signing. sorry but naismith looks like he can play that position well, as well as barkley. another year in the ressies for barkley whilst our right side wont be sorted until january. god i hope johnson has something to do with this deal, very doubtful this is the case though

City fans must be gutted, two weeks ago they were gettin Van Persie, now they've got Rodwell, just hope if the fee is £15m then Moyes gets most of it.
Kenwright you CANNOT spend it on a sequel to Corrie the musical.

Agreed mate, i think the lad will kick on with the move i really do, i rated the lad but he was hitting brick walls with us - i said in another thread he reminded me of Kompany when i watched him as a youngster, i think he will end up of that calibre. He seems like a good las too and a blue - always had the right things to say about the club and served us with dignity, nothing but the best do i wish him and think he will be a better player for leaving us.

What Lewis did today was unforgivable in my eyes, it doesnt change my fundamental opinions, but its disgusting, on what planet is ok or a has permission been created to tease fans into thinking breaking news is on the way - and all the positive conintations and hopes that brings, then to be told that a player many fans have invested years of hopes and expectations in has been flogged a week before the season - as if thats something we should be happy with. Its disgusting.

If there are any positives to be drawn, the club are massively exposed now, its not like Arteta leaving on the last day last year, if they dont make signings before the window shuts there will be murder, they have nearly three weeks to play with so no place to hide.

I would be very surprised if we didnt have something lined up, early runners are Phillips, Donavon, Dempsey, Adam for me.

Adam??

Now is not the time for this.

Well considering we have felli, gibson, hetinga and neville i guess thats the one place we have some depth, and if city gave the right fee, there are some other positions really need filling. Coleman is not our starting RM answer, need better.

junior should be ahead of heiting and neville for those positions

Just had a thought of this, surely the offer must've been our valuation (15 mil+) or else Everton would've had a bit of bargaining? This only came out yesterday and we've already accepted.

Thank God it's not going to repeat of Joleon Lescott at the start of the season.

I think he has problems with his mentality too. A lot of the time he was too happy floating around in games. A shame, because he has all the tools to his game to be a great player.

If we swap a 21 year old for a 30 year old that will be a travesty in itself.

Think Phillips meself Neils and Donovan to come in Nov/Jan.

Phillips will be half of what we have received for Rodwell and the rest going to the bank.

We're going to sign someone so anti-climatic it'll make my eyes bleed. My expectations are so low they are right next to ****ing dinosaur bones.

It says we 'value' him at £15m, still no fee mentioned? I 'value' my services at £500,000 a year. It doesn't mean i'd get it.
