Rodwell to City!!!!

I really don't think he's been that good for us, he hasn't broken into our first team and he gets injured a lot, I don't think it's a major loss, if we get 15-20 million for him i will be happy, only if we can spend the money on getting someone else.

Mixed feelings about this tbh. I like Jack, he's a good lad, and with him still being young he has the potential to crack on and make a mark on the league. That said, the signs haven't been too promising from him in the past 12 months, so if we're getting a decent fee for him I can't blame the club for wanting to cash in really. I wish him all the best.

Does this mean Moyes rates Cisco?

I would probably say he broke into the first-team last season before he got injured.

EDIT: Before that RS diver cheated him out of the derby.

Am I the only one who thought this would be his breakthrough season and he'd end up becoming boss for us? I'm pretty disgusted as I still rate Jack

I rate him too. Its just pure bull**** and its gonna be a **** season once again. What an amazing trend we have set. The only youngster who had come through the ranks recently is being sold. He's far better than Gibson when given a string of games. Guess we have a 36 year old Neville as the only option in midfield if Gibson is injured.

Flat out lie. He started twelve out of the first 13 games last season and he only stopped playing because he was injured.

I like rodwell, I didn't want to sell, but now that it's happened, I can look forward. End of last season I posted saying I fully expect we will lose at least one of Fellaini, baines, or rodwell, and I'm thrilled that rodwell is the choice.

Looking forward, does this move open the door for Dempsey AND Donovan? Or does Barkley immediately claim all of Rodwell's minutes? I'm very happy with either of these scenarios.

If Neville now claims all of rod's minutes and we don't bring anyone in, then we just moved backwards.

Look at it this way - City released 'cisco and we picked him up for free. If Moyes rates him over Rodwell and can use that money to improve other areas so be it.
