The way i look at it we got him for a song in the first place, by the time his contract finishes he will be here close to a decade, about 4 mill net for ten years of Pienaar - bargain!

We f*cked up, he f*cked up and at least we got it sorted. With Pienaar in the team we play ace football.

You think that's too much for 4.5m? Stop moaning and look forward to him doing all manner of backheels and through balls.

The Bily and Yak deals were far worse, if you want to point fingers. This gives us a quality player who we need.

You win some, you lose some i guess. Moyes doesn't have the same kind of finances to waste ( thank god ) but i imagine he would given the opportunity, he has on the whole given us the best pound for pound players in my opinion.

For ever Pienaar there is a Bily i suppose.

Not sure about the thank god that we don't have more money to spend, like.

I can see why people from other clubs would point the finger at the the deal because frankly its chaotic (from as I say a business point of view) but there is an irony that the club across the park that are spunking money overpaying on poor signing after poor signing on ridiculous wages. For me whatever way we dress up the Pienaar deal it doesn't reflect well on us but we've signed the player who was our number one target and i'm delighted.

At first when i heard Pienaar was coming back on loan, wasnt impress with the news and thought Pienaar didnt deserve another chance with us for rejecting our contract and choosing CL, but he won me over with his performances and It was nice to see him link up with Baines again, yeah he now knows he belongs here and we have a happy player, he wanted CL football and more money, we couldnt give it now we both have met halfway and it cost us a few million, bargain of the season already in my eyes and shows again how much Moyes is respected by his players, and how a player can come back and play for him again, the players are happy to see him, the fans are happy, Pienaar happy, all we need now is Donavan and we have a hell of a team barring injuries to key players.

Absolutely made up, now he's officially back. Actually looking forward to the season now, mind you I'm still waiting for my season ticket to arrive again, our brilliant box office staff sent me someone elses season card instead. !!

I'm very pleased we have him back, and by the sound of things, he's pleased too.

We play better with him. Looking forward to seeing him run out against AEK now.
