Hes 26 and has 5 caps for the Naional Team.

Im fairly sure if he was any good he would have had more.

Meh.

A bit misleading though. He has been called into camp but injuries/depth (his first few camps he was behind in from Bocanegra, Demerit, and Onyewu in their primes) kept him out of the lineups. He's a good player though who can start attacks. I personally don't see Everton as a good fit for him.

I think we should go for it, lets face it this is probably Distins last season, and few MLS player go straight to the first 11 in the EPL.

Have only seen him play a few times, but he is being touted about as the long term solution to the USA's CB role currently occupied by aging players.

Unfortunately, I think the Dynamo would want a decent fee for their "future star". He is highly untested at the highes level as his caps for the US have come against the mighty Scotland, Venezuela and El Salvador, so he may not be worth the risk to us.

I think they'll accept around 2 or 3 million. Tim Ream went from New York to Bolton for 2.5 million. Of course they are a bit different, as Ream is younger at 24, but Cameron is much more premier-league ready.

They have had 2 of their star players in the past walk for free, and he is under contract until the end of the 2014 season. Not sure about the 2 or 3 million, just because Tim Ream went in that range doesnt mean the Dynamo won't be looking for a bigger payday, especially because of their players walking for free before.

A pretty reliable source is reporting that Stoke have put a bid in for him. Not sure why Stoke would want to buy anyone who passes the ball on the ground.
