Tim Iroegbunam , better without the ball than with currently?
Think he tries to do more on it than he's currently capable of. Up to the players around him to provide options so he can release it early.

Needs another lesson, when in doubt, put it out!Think he tries to do more on it than he's currently capable of. Up to the players around him to provide options so he can release it early.
He has more ability than most in our team to receive the ball, shield it and drive forward. He has a good touch and good close control. I think sometimes he dwells on the ball too long. Think it’s just a confidence thing. He has the ability.Think he tries to do more on it than he's currently capable of. Up to the players around him to provide options so he can release it early.
This simply isn't true. He's excellent at receiving the ball, beating the press and driving forward. His passing sometimes lets him down.Maybe he should just be a defensive midfielder who gets the ball and gives it simply, nothing fancy, no trying to progress up the pitch with it. That’s his weakness, always getting caught in possession. Great off the ball, not so good on it.

He has put in some excellent performances this season and a couple of stinkers. If he starts next season I think he'll become one of our best players. He has a lot of ability.I think he just hasn't got the balance right yet. He's still getting to grips with the top level so it's easy to get caught out when you think you have more time than you actually do.
I'd really like to see his ability on the ball continue to improve. Too often down the years our players have gone the other way and regressed. It would be great to see him progress to someone who is really comfortable on the ball in that position.
Despite being a MOTM contender in quite a few games this season? You're tripping. He's a limited player who ideally would be a last 5 minutes sub and playing in cup ties against lower league opposition, but he's still better than the guy we swapped him for, so a decent deal for the club.
