An astute decision from Big Undies to ignore the wailing from Dyche’s media mates about how they should be grateful to scrape 17th and couldn’t possibly dare hope to win this very winnable competition. I always did think he’d volley him in February if they were still near the drop zone.

Imagine us if we'd had two games per week and ensnared in a relegation fight when he came here. We'd have gone.

Forest need to get eliminated from that ASAP. When that happens it'll feel like a weight off their backs.

They'll finish about 15th IMO.

Dyche will be desperate to get out of this competition.

If you're fighting off relegation you need two games per week like you need an 8 points deduction.

Celtic v Forest in the KO tie should be a reasonable way for Dyche to get Forest out. It'll give good cover for that.
