Today in this thread you've said this in the last few pages: 1/ you see a club "largely stagnating" under Moyes...but 2/ "it's inane to judge" for a single season...and 3/ you "hope we part with Moyes in the summer".
Just to clarify: you're saying he should go?
I think I might stop this conversation as I get tired of explaining how two seemingly conflicting ideas and thoughts can actually both be true at the same time.
1. yes, I think we have largely stagnated this season. There have been signs of progress under Moyes, and he has brought some stability, but not enough to be satisfied overall. General stability, signs of progress, but largely stagnant. They can all be true at once. None are absolutes.
2. no, this is where you are struggling to read more than a few words at a time again. It's also why you are getting confused and why I am getting frustrated.
Here's what I said..."it's inane to judge expectations for a single season where the club has been constantly bottom half and worrying about relegation as being the same as where the club had been consistently top half".
To simplify that a little. Expectations after consistently being bottom half for years are not the same as expectations after consistently being in the top half for years. It's inane to judge them as being the same.
3. yes. As explained. Ad nauseum.
It must be interesting going through life only able to see things in binary. Phenomenal or dire. Unable to see the good in a bad situation, and unable to see the negatives in something which is largely positive. It's an interesting stance to take, but not sure it's one I can understand.
