2025/26 David Moyes

The club needs to start winning big games to change the narrative around it, and eventually win trophies (which is dependent on winning big games)

We’ve got a manager who can’t do either. We need a manager who is going to break the wheel of the last 30 years, not just perpetuate it for another few years.

We’re back to getting our heads patted on TV by kopite pundits because we’re right back in their comfort zone where they want us. Zero threat of winning a derby against them, zero threat of denying them a space in Europe, zero threat of winning a trophy any time soon. No wonder they all talk up Moyes so much.

The day we have a manager all the kopite media and pundits despise you’ll know we have the right one.
100% correct. We also need a fan base that doesn't excuse every single loss away and that starts to demand success.

Did anyone else notice how EFC lost the midfield battle against LFC in the last twenty minutes? Or the fact that once Tim came on against WHU there was more energy and finally game control.

Well DM fails to notice it week after week.

Correct.

He's like a rabbit caught in headlights.

Hes got us exactly where I expected us to be..free from relegation scrap, mid-high up table with outside shot of Europe. No more, no less..
And, I have enjoyed it for one season, to be able to breath and not spend time looking in 2000 page relegation thread.
However, the future beckons and I'm not confident of where he can take us. I dont trust his recruitment after last summer, and I think he lacks the tactics needed for forward play.
Im also well aware of what can happen when you get what you wish for and see west ham skirting with relegation after several failed flavour of the month managers.
