It’s not a binary choice.

If we’d won the derby we’d have a much better chance of finishing 6th.

No it’s not binary, it’s hypothetical. What would you choose? I’m trying to get to the bottom of whether the derby is our cup final and more important than anything else we do over the course of the season, I’ve just essentially been told it is.

More often than not they are the better team tho mate. I know it’s likely yelling at clouds but there is two teams in close proximity in the city and one constantly outperforms the other and in some years by a substantial margin. It shouldn’t be about them I know but it is pretty telling.

I don’t involve myself in the derby talk because, a lot of our fans have to revert to morality or telly clapping digs because we have little to no ammo to give them about on the pitch stuff.

The 90s and 00s killed us a club to the point where it would be a miracle if we ever regularly compete against them again. None of that was down to the players or manager, it's how we were run off the pitch.

He'd have them back behind the ball hoping a team with a load of retiring players and players who've failed to prove themselves all season didn't get behind us.

He's just a bad manager where tactics and are concerned. A clueless loser.

No Allison, no right back, left back deemed no longer good enough, a number 10 who can’t run, a left winger who can’t score, a striker with one leg who can’t move, and a right winger who doesn’t press or track runners. No Ekitike on the bench. Then their second choice keeper goes off.

And we still barely laid a glove on them and let them do backheels and flicks all over our new stadium.

If he can’t beat this Liverpool team he’s not going to beat any of them. They’re absolutely rancid, and the few times we did put more than about thee passes together they just opened up like the red sea but we were more interested in trying to curl balls from the left back for Dewsbury Hall to compete against Konate in the air all game.

No you haven’t. You’ve been told that Everton fans would like their manager to try and win a derby.

Europe would be nice, but this current starting line up isn't for Europe

I disagree.

We need two games a week and use these players we've not used and the ones we'll get in.

If it means we finish bottom half and Moyes sacked then so be it.

Job done.

A new boss comes in and shows how it's done.

Its like they forget we swap Beto for Barry every game anyway.

Barry would have been on at some point

Id pair KDH & Garner. Armstrong & Iroegbunam as the rotation options.

Then id bring in a top quality 6 (Armstrong can also play there) & work on Dibling as a 10 which was always his position prior to last season.

change 6 to 10 depending on circumstances.

A few of them are too young for his 11 and the others dont have premier league experience.

Good job Dibling Rohl or Alcaraz don’t get on though. Imagine if they’d made a mistake that cost us the game.

As I said mate, yes his record is poor but ours as a club was even worse when he wasn't here.

Let's be honest, it's less of a mentality issue and more down to the fact they're a better team. Even in this season where people say they're having a nightmare, they are still above us. Comfortably!
Are Arsenal and Newcastle at home better teams than Bournthmouth? Bigger squads, better players?? Probably...just looking at squads before the match is part of the mentality problem we have. Bigger, costlier squads might win over the season but ffs, a well coached, mentally and physically prepared team can and should believe they can win anytime they step out on the field...i dont believe THIS manager gives off that vibe to be honest.

Im sure some posters have personal friendships with moyes or idolise him.

Maybe he was the manager when they were kids and better than whats followed.

Loving Doucoure as Moyes started him

Absolving Moyes of any blame for results.

Saying Moyes didnt sign players last summer

Are they Evertonians or Moyes worshippers? Its brainwashing levels of peculiarity.
