But you just described moyes in a nutshell he is 62 do you really believe he will change now!

McNeil starting is the perfect example of his as a manager
Exactly right. He isn’t going to change who he is or his nature. The last 2 games we needed 3 points minimum but more likely 4. We got 1.

Can you say we were unlucky today - of course. But you make your own luck sometimes

Mate you reckon he would ever change?
Sadly I don’t. Not at his age. Too conservative in my mind. Tough to bring new tricks, spontaneity, and unpredictable changes for most people at that age. He is who he is. But until someone clearly better and the long-term future of our club becomes available, I would retain him as long as we can. Knee-jerk reactions set us back and saddle us with a revolving door of managers taking us nowhere.

I totally agree with everything you said. I just wouldn’t replace him until an obvious better choice comes along. Not the new flavour of the month. But long-term stability and that manager has to be better than Moyes. I don’t see that guy out there yet which is why I say keep him until there’s a better option. I’m not a big fan of seeing the same managers jump from team to team all within the PL.

The team he picks is pretty much what it should be based on experience and ability but it’s his treatment/use of the squad that’s tiresome.

To be honest, I think I should go. Not sure I can be arsed paying for tickets anymore. No daft trecks from the ground if I watch on TV. Doubt we will ever win anything. The decisions by officials is killing the game. More fun watching golf or going the races. Maybe I am just getting old? It is getting boring and a chore now. Maybe I should try the lower leagues as others have done so I can enjoy footy again?

Agreed mate, var, quarter of the league getting champions league, everyone playing long ball, the sheer wealth and bias to the sky six, games rarely ever on a Saturday anymore, it's garbage
