they kept getting turned around, with beto up top the ball was sticking and allowed us to gain ground, barry came on and was basically a sweeper for them and was allergic to the ball, so we had to concede ground which pulled them onto us. so now they were working shots from medium distance basically for free. happened a few times and a deflection went out for corners before it got them that final corner.

TLDR, we had no out ball, we just gave possession back and it was attack vs defence with a man (barry and george) or two down.

barry had to go for that mcneil created chance. wasn't even bothered to look let alone move. beto would have gambled.
