Apart from him not being great is there any reason everyone seems to hate him so much ? Can’t think of many examples of a specific player getting singled out for booing.

Most players for most clubs would get booed if they criticised their own fanbase - especially if that criticism was misleading and those fans had generally supported the player a lot. In the absence of an apology from him for posting on social media before he was in possession of the full facts, being the bigger man and applauding those fans after the game on Saturday would’ve gone some way to building bridges - running off in a huff did not.

Hardly going out of my way took less than a minute to reply, I mean if everyone stopped themselves from replying to something because the player played minimal minutes the place would come to a stop. I’ve seen enough of him this season to make my mind up I don’t like him, his attitude doesn’t seem fantastic either. I would try and sell him in summer and recoup as much of the wasted money as possible. He is not good enough to put up with the unnecessary drama and baggage that comes with him.

To be fair to the lad its only been this one instance of drama/baggage.

Not being good enough is a good enough reason to get rid.

I think both sides need to move on from this.
Those fans that wanted to have their boo have done it. I don’t see much to be gained by repeating it.
Likewise for Barry, the ball is firmly in his court now. Hopefully it’s a wise up moment for him in his career, he learns from it and knuckles down until the end of the season. If he grafts, then better opportunities may be open to him in the summer than if he sulks for the remainder of the season.

The funny thing is, both Barry and Beto are pretty crap yet they've both scores absolute quality finishes (Beto 1st v Chelsea and Barry v Villa away), the likes we haven't seen since Lukaku who had every kind of finish imaginable

Shame they've just got so many flaws in a lot of aspects of their game

Its either him or Beto and Beto has a year left on his deal.

I think if over the next 7 games he can make an impact and be involved with 4 goals through finishes and/or assists then he'll get a full preseason.

Along with a new centre forward.

Id keep him and shift Beto. He can improve and we have seen before that players look poor in their first season and gradually grow into the club and league. It's worth another season to see if he can do that.

I would of course buy another striker though.

I disagree. He has 6 goals despite everyone saying how rubbish he is. He has the raw physical attributes and even they can get better.

If he does a fashion shoot sporting Culottes over pre-season i'd say give him a new 5 year deal. Then sit back and enjoy years of guaranteed fume and head popping.
