Revenue will increase in the next set of accounts with the new stadium etc. but it’s interesting to see where we stood before leaving Goodison - behind Bournemouth, Brighton, Forest, West Ham and not far off half of Aston Villa’s turnover.

It couldn’t be more obvious that we need European football, we need to win a cup and we need more home grown players as we can only compete so far in the market.

TFG will have to be closely watched IMO.

We need another £90M net spend summer like last summer and to pay out big cash for goal scoring talent in particular.

If we see a big reduction in net spend or even retrenchment then we'll have our answer as to how ambitious they are here.

I live in Napa and noticed that our owners have defaulted a loan and had a foreclosure on the Auberge property they own because of financial troubles….. slightly concerning…

We need another £90M net spend summer like last summer and to pay out big cash for goal scoring talent in particular.

If we see a big reduction in net spend or even retrenchment then we'll have our answer as to how ambitious they are here.

In an ideal world we will spend ‘smartly’ to lessen the pressure on ticket price increases.

Unfortunately I think that ship has sailed.

Client Challenge

Don’t think TFG / Auberge owned the site though did they? Auberge operated it and will continue to do so after this foreclosure and buy out.
They do something similar with a new hotel in London that they operate.
Seems their model is often to just operate and brand these properties while they are actually owned by a separate entity
