Summer transfer window.

I watched them first games with my eyes mate, and he was really good, he played that 9 well, and allowed those skillful players around him to play off him well, thats also what you want from a lone striker.

Football is not played on a spreadsheet.
I agree. I've no interest in stats other than goals and assists for a forward.

Undoubtedly he holds the ball up better than our 2 and is a better target man but I would hope that we can do a lot better than him

An ideal backup forward would be someone like Ivanovic at Milwall, young, scores goals, happy to be rotated at Championship level so I doubt he would complain to the same at PL level but yes I agree I doubt you would get him for £10m, maybe £15-20m.
My mates a Millwall fan and he rates Ivanovic along with Azeez and the CB Crama. Cant say I've seen any of them play like...

If you really want to take a punt on lower league you should look at player kike Pepple and Tolaj at Plymouth.

I don't think either would hack it in the Premium but on the other hand I reckon both would be better than our current strikers and you probably pick them up for around £3-5 million.

A smart club might pick up a player like that as a back up to a far more established striker.
Mohamed Toure of Norwich could be worth a punt
