No, but it could well mean McNeil's has. But irrespective of that, we lost a wide player, so we needed another on loan purely from a depth point of view.

After years of horribleness I would take a deep run and potentially winning the conference league (of which we would be one of the favourites as it stands, without additions), if it meant our league form suffered and we finished say 13th

But then we’ve given the club and the fans either some great memories in Europe, or an actual trophy an qualification for the europa league

That with a few additions on top of that would likely be one of the favourites for that

Again our league form might dip, but there’s a bigger squad in place, so we come 9th, but we’ve won the europa league, and now we’re in the champions league

Now we’re signing another quality of player

It is all possible,but as I said it depends on the owners financial strategy. On face value they appear to be putting their money into Roma and Roma's planned new stadium may have a big say in our future transfer budgets. Time will tell.

Who Knows what TFG are willing to hand us, they backed us in the Summer..
The lack of movement this window possibly has nothing to do with them..

Go look at how they backed Mourinho in his time there.

Spent decent in his first summer then after that it was sell, sell, sell. With hardly any reinvestment and leaving Mourinho basically relying on frees and loans...sound familiar?
