Moyes - should he stay or should he go?

I love this forum …. Anyone with their mind in order who looks back a year and was offered the position in terms of points would snatch your hand off .
We complain fir the sake of complaining in here who needs facts when there’s a chance to kick a manager

We could have had the patience during bad times that you speak of, but we threw that out the window when we chose Moyes who a lot of fans don't particularly like. The context of the previous years almost gets balanced out by the fact we've seen enough of this manager to say what they will or won't do

I remain hopeful that when we change managers, if the appointment seems logical and you can see a plan, then finally finally all but a small few will be able to grin and bear ups and downs along the way

Perhaps a more insightful poll would have been if people want him to stay the next season or two.

Either way, doesn't matter. Too many change their opinion on a whim depending on a short run of form. Win 3 games people vote yes. Lose 3 people vote no.

The owners shouldn't allow short term to dictate term as I fear they did last season/summer.

I think that would be a better poll, because we are answering longer term rather than today..

Maybe you should get one going, and look a possible big change in responses..

I think this is most likely as well. He's never gonna do badly enough that he has to go. I think it just depends on who the owners' ideal replacement is, because I do reckon if they are available in the summer, they won't hesitate to make a change, but odds are that won't be the case so they'll just let Moyes see out his deal.

Other clubs manage it mate. It's why you shouldn't over-commit to buying players who are wedded to a particular way of playing or a particular manager. To be fair, Moyes tends to sign fairly adaptable players so I don't see it being an issue for us.

And who a lot of fans do particularly like ! My comment wasn’t particularly a comment in support of Moyes it was an observation about the fickle nature of football supporters

Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton are the obvious examples from the Prem.
