We must have been desperate to offer such a generous contract. And yes we were, we had DycheAnd another 12 months if Moyes decided to take up the option when his contract is up.

I think he's safe as houses unless things go far worse than this. Which could still happen after what we've seen this week. It's not. And I can understand why the club will want to hold onto him - especially if we hit top 10 on the last day of the season or before and stays there.
But that's another argument.
It's OK for fans like you who absolutely adore DM - the results will dictate his future - his £100 million summer budget may be his downfall- the league is so tight atm & we have hard games coming up 8 points from the bottom 4 a good run would push us the other way up ....everyone i mean everyone

Our style of football the lack of goals is there to see even when we have a strongest team out
We have two CFs who can't even score from a pen- so concerns our there & rightly so this forum will not get DM sacked his results may ?

Stay for now. But there will be pressure on the league when we have our players back now we’re out of the cup.
Needs a strong second half of the season for me.

On the other hand, progress isn't always necessarily linear and this could just be a bump on the road to top ten or more.
But there’s no future under this dour dinosaur. The football is shocking, it’s as dull as dishwateri’m an everton fan who can see the bigger picture and sick of sack, and rinse and repeat
