January Transfer Window 2026

Why cant we produce a striker and a right back from the very expensive academy?
Not many others can produce a striker. Look at the options that Tuchel has available up front after Kane.
It isn’t as if the RS has had a young striker in the past 20 years who’s come through the ranks who we can point to and blame the scouts.
Rashford apart, I’m not sure that the Manchester clubs got one either. Fergie didn’t going further back.

Given the lack of budget he had to work with, the PSR issues to navigate, and the fact he had no leadership for the last 18 months before the takeover; Thelwell should be lauded for what he achieved.

The Tim/Dobbin PSR 'swap' deal for example. Based on what we're seeing now that Tim has games under his belt that was daylight robbery on our part.
Exactly, that era is behind us now, so fans can now look at the positive things we got from him.

The place we were in, it's hard to see the light. But you can see it now..

Bowen has 100 g/a in just over 200 games. Most PL clubs would take him in their squad. He would deffo have offers from most clubs playing in Europa and alot in CL.

We are currently behind clubs like Palace in terms of attracting players. Nothing wrong with having high opinions of the club but we aren't a attractive club at the moment. That may change with TFG.

Tete preferred Fulham as an option, says it all.
There’s not a chance Bowen would pick palace over us . Tete obviously happy with an easy life at Fulham. And we were crap Everton then coming off the back of 3/4 very poor seasons, even with the new ground and owners. We still looked a club a long way from doing anything, but signing players like Grealish, KDH. Who both wouldn’t haven’t gone to palace or Fulham by the way. And now having a good season, we look a club on the way back.

Bet we don't sign anyone

Different ownerships but we've been much closer to Europe going into January (2012/13 and 2020/21 spring to mind) and done next to nothing, so can definitely see them keeping their powder dry until the summer

Bowen will go down the West Ham and bounce them back up after scoring 50 goals in the championship. He'll be like Del Piero when Juve dropped.

Love him as a player but i honestly think he's staying there until he retires.

looking through rumours and seeing moyes wants mcneil to stay and could possibly loan dibling to preston is not the kind of business i want to hear

He'll get more output from McNeil than Dibling.

Grealish is back so he's out left. McNeil will be starting right, and he did play Alcaraz out there all of preseason if needs. Thats how I see it if true

Doubt it though.

He got an assist McNeil, but I thought Dibling was better especially 2nd half, think he will keep his place on the right. McNeil has never had a good game there
