After watching games this season, I feel the system we use doesn’t suit him

He’s a ball to feet player

Lumping it up to him isn’t his strong suit, even though he’s not terrible in the air

Heading is his only strong suit, everything else is championship level at best.
90% of Championship strikers would have his goal return this season.

Personally, I’d take another 5 (total 7) as a sign better things are to come. If he makes double figures I’ll be cock-a-hoop.

If he can get close to double figures then it’s a good season.

I think he can do it.

We will see him double his current tally in the next week.

Of course, Beto has destroyed my trust in anyone who goes on a late-season scoring streak.

I did read that in his season in Belgium, Thierno scored his first goal in Dec/Jan and ended up with 10.

If it’s a “getting used to a new country” thing, then cool. If it’s a “starting every season slowly” thing then obvs less cool.

A lot of players bought for big money with huge reputations and experience.

He said himself he wanted to beat last seasons total of 11. That's his own personal target so 9 more to equal it and 10 to better it with 19 games to go.

Lukaku was absolutely superb when he was in that mood. So strong, such a good finisher.
