Wharton is a regular and one of the most important players in a PL team at age 20-21 and when he doesn't play they look noticeably worse.
He's easy on the eye and has a wand of a left foot, great passer of the ball but he doesnt score goals (0) or get enough assists (2). Jimmy G has 2goals 3 assists in a team that doesnt score a lot. And Wharton as a dm isnt a great tacker, not quick over the ground or very physical. If I'm playing against him I know I'll get time to play. Look at our Tim yesterday, he would be a nightmare to play against in midfield. Strong, quick, great tackler and leaves something on the opposition when he challenges. I'm not saying Tim is the better player but I know who Id rather play against.

There's a load of posters here who actually convinced themselves that I support Dyche and Forest - because I reasonably stated he did a very good job here and saved us from oblivion...which he did.

Imagine not supporting Everton as much as you live for posting stuff about Dyche all day and night and how Everton with £110M of investment are better than the team that Dyche managed having been forced to cut to the bone here.

Here's just some of the posters who'd rather post about Dyche than celebrate an Everton win for the last 12 hours...

Dave you constantly slag off Moyes whenever, wherever you can, don't whine when you get it back. Remember who pays the piper. And more importantly, well done David Moyes's Everton for totally annihilating Nottingham Forest over two very important league games and six valuable points, pity you can't say that too.

Gibbs-white looks fed up to the back teeth of it already, think your spot on.

Think he was having a good old laugh and chit chat with Tarks at the end, about how bad it is under the masterclass merchant.
I thought exactly that when I saw them talking and tarks was laughing, can’t believe that dinosaur had us playing high balls in the box against you two lol,the players will soon be fed up as you say they know they can do better than that

I think the way we set up forced Forest to go wide and put balls into the box, which we dealt with comfortably.

The problem is, Dyche doesn’t have any way of countering that.

It was the same when he managed us. No answer to anything when the initial game plan of one of the fullbacks chipping a ball somewhere down the line for a stranded Calvert Lewin to flick on to nobody doesn’t work.
