Fixture changes- How to make a point.

i think a start could be a lobby to ban the monday night fixture, let sky have their analysis and guest, but the match is aways a side show to the chat and not only is it inconvenient but its killing the weekend tradition

the fixtures are getting out of hand. i know a good few need to be moved to sunday cos of European fixtures but how about just those teams play sunday on TV, everyone else plays saturday, that would be a start

Large scale fan boycotts of a certain time slot (eg Monday night 8pm) would send a strong message to Sky, they wouldn't want an empty stadium every Monday and they definitely wouldn't want to explain that the stadium was empty because of them. It'd need agreement from fans of every club for it to have maximum effect though.
Happy to do that, I can't make Monday night football anyways. I'm in

Nag the hell out of mps until they're bored to death hearing about how those who elect them want some representation against the almighty behemoth of unregulated market forces.

Sky etc operate in this country with our consent. They should expect to work within rules. I wouldn't care ifvthey buggered off to a different market.
Newcastle seem to get their MPs talking about them loads in parliament. That’s probably the route. they should be able to exert some form of power through the regulator surely under the aim of safeguarding the heritage of English football - ie, putting the fans first.

Broadcasters need content, if all of the content plays at the same time, they have less content to provide...

Mind you, I don't like it, but only government regulation would change it and I doubt very much they would.

There's no point IMO - clubs are now totally reliant on TV money.
The ONLY way to make them listen is to not buy tickets and by doing this it will likely drive them further into the arms of tv.

You could also argue that any of us watching televised football are also part of the problem- cancel your subscriptions !

Even if local fans switch off and/or don't turn up there's too many elsewhere now funding the TV model.

Give non league a go is my advice.
