2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Should never have been on the pitch given there were already rumours of him carrying risky knocks. Arguably our most important player this season and an enormous loss. We have got to have the worst medical team in the league. These sort of things have been going on for years now.

It is always a three way decision, medical team can give their assessment but then the player and manager will also decide.

KDH would've been desperate to get out there due to not playing much at Chelsea last season and Moyes will always pick him when he is available.

Next week should just be Tim-Garner-Carlos but there will be nothing beyond that with the injuries and Gana being away and also J O'B now having issues at RB so not ideal to be going into the xmas period thin on the ground in central midfield.

I think its time that club reliased that our current medical staff is out of its depth and needs a serious upgrade.

The medical team has changed so many times in the past 15 years and still the injury issues persist. The only constant in that whole time is the training ground and playing surfaces there, people don’t want to have that conversation though.

Though there can be an element of inherent weakness. It's usually a function of over use Vs rest and recovery

It's particularly ironic because in his recent interview with ToffeeTv he was saying how he doesn't really do much for his recovery and just relies on his "natural fitness".

Might need to rethink that as he gets into his late 20s tbh...

…..players will often make the call themselves if they’re carrying a knock or have a bit of muscle tightness. KDH clearly in a rich vein of form, wouldn’t surprise me if he insisted on playing.

Can be unpredictable things those hamstrings, I’d imagine it’ll be a fair spell on the sidelines now.

If he was feeling a tight hamstring we shouldn't have played him in a fixture we haven't won for 30 years when we have important games coming up.

When the alternative is Alcaraz, you do whatever you can to get him on the pitch.

….unless you’re close to the camp, we have no idea how long this has been going on. It might just have flared up or he’s been suffering muscle fatigue for weeks. Could be a number of players in a similar situation.
